The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is established for the cultural benefit and enjoyment of all residents and visitors to the region. They strive to plan, produce and advocate the finest cultural events at Lake Tahoe while educating future generations on the importance of including theater, music and art in their everyday lives.

DCD was awarded the contract as official Design Partner for the Festival, providing art direction and graphic design services in the marketing and promotion of the upcoming 2012 Season.

This first piece in the campaign (pictured here) highlights the season’s performances and establishes the design style for future communications. We put a strong focus on the first-class venue – showcasing the theater and amenities of the Festival located on the beaches of Sand Harbor State Park in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Pulling colors and design inspiration from the venue, we created a simple yet sophisticated piece that captured the spirit of the Festival while featuring the season’s performances.

Vintage wines of Shakespeare’s Vineyard. Gourmet meals from Shakespeare’s Kitchen. And most important, the extraordinary talented actors and actresses of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival create an experience never seen before. Check out some of the venue photos below.
