Lakewood is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio and is part of the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan Area. Lakewood borders the city of Cleveland to the west and has the highest population density of any city in Ohio. Incorporated as a village in 1889, it is named for its lakefront location and was listed in Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the Top 10 Suburbs in the USA.
The Approach
The site focuses on Lakewood’s six areas of concentration – Commercial Development, Housing, Community Wellness, Safety, Mobility, and Education & Culture. A comprehensive News section and Calendar of Events keeps users updated on local headlines and happenings.
A robust database of property information is tied in with the Google Maps API and gives users detailed information on Parks, Government Buildings, Libraries, Restaurants, Schools and area Attractions. Search for a particular house and get parcel, ward and zoning information.
