The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival strives to plan, produce and advocate the finest cultural events at Lake Tahoe, while educating future generations on the importance of including theater, music and art in their everyday lives. Performances are held at Sand Harbor at Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park with productions for close to 30,000 patrons each summer.
As Design Partners for the Festival for since 2012, DCD provides art direction and graphic design services in the marketing and promotion of the Season print and advertising material. We strive to capture the bold and colorful themes of each season’s performances in multiple brochures, posters, postcards, rack cards, billboards, signage and a variety of advertisements.
Shown here is the 2013 Season – Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This production was inspired by the mod influences of a rock ‘n’ roll infused 1960s London and featured gorgeous costumes, stunning sets and one of the most talented professional acting companies in the West.
